BAREBOAT CHARTERS: In order to hire a vessel, one member of your group must hold a sailing licence - but if this isn˘t possible, don˘t worry. Experienced skippers can sail your craft for you. All you have to do is to take your sun-tan lotion, a hat, sun glasses, waterproofs, flat rubber shoes and something warmer to wear in the evenings, and you˘re ready to sail away with your family or friends. Your boat is delivered to you after the most detailed inspection, with the standard equipment, clean, with its tanks full of fuel and water and with two bottles of gas in the galley. Your sole obligation is to return it as you took it over (in terms of fuel, cleanliness, etc.). A skipper, windsurfs, and supplies, which you take on board, are additional facilities for your convenience and are costed separately.
PAYMENT PROCEDURES (For bookings through Agent - Assistant): Payment is made as follows: 50% of the charge is paid on the signing of the contract by bank swift to company account or by credit card and the remaining 50% 4 weeks before embarkation by bank swift to company account or latest when you take over the boat at base, in cash or Credit Card (Master Card, VISA, Diners). *Payment by Credit Cards: there is surcharge 2% as credit card bank fees.
Bad Debts Insurance program: With this program you insure the full amount of your charter price included all extras against all risks. The premium is 2,10% of the total charter price. Minimum premium Euro 60,00
ARRIVAL: If a transfer has not been arranged upon arrival, please take a taxi from the airport and make your way to the marina. At the latest one week prior to your arrival you should inform us about your flight number and arrival time, as we need to know, when to await in the harbor. For you convenience we suggest to pre-book transfers.
CHECK IN: Starting Date / Embarkation local time: 17:00˘. the skipper and co-skipper will do the check-in procedures together with our staff. Based on our general inventory list, applayable to all the boats. The rest of the crew and your luggage should not be on board at this time. Further we will arrange your harbor papers and then you are ready to leave the harbour. Note: all check-in will be done during day light time only. For late arrivals check in will take place next morning.
Licenses Required by countryas below Hellas: 2 sailing licenses required. In case that skipper and co skipper are sailing licenses holders then both fill in and sign (one for each) Official Statement only for Skipper(s) with diploma. If co skipper does not hold sailing license then he fill in and sign Official Statement Form only for Co Skipper without diploma. Turkiye: 1 sailing license required. No official statement(s) are requested. Croatia: 2 sailing licenses required and VHF license is obligatory. No official statement(s) are requested. Italy: 2 sailing licenses required and VHF license is obligatory. No official statement(s) are requested.
Are you first time ARGOLIS customer ? Please fill in application form for ARGOLIS Member Card Club. Once you have completed this form, please print and hand it to our base staff or send it by email to our head office. Your actual card (AMCC) will be sent to the mail address specified in form or give by hand after your first booking with ARGOLIS Yacht or any of ARGOLIS Group co operators. For future reservations - bookings just refer AMCC and you will enjoy all benefits.
CHECK OUT: Ending Date / Disembarkation local time 09:00˘. The yacht MUST return to disembarkation port the night before ending date, one (1) hour before sun set, unless any other time is pre-arranged with you. In case of possible delays, when returning the yacht, you have to contact us at once, as most of the times, we have connecting charters and the boat has to prepare for the next charter. Make sure that you are close enough to the base, that you can easily come back on the actual last day independent of the weather condition. Note: all check out will be done during day light time and after all your luggage are on the dock.
